Catania Art Gallery was inaugurated on December 9, 2012, in one of the historic districts of the city of Etna, inside a delightful Art Nouveau building that gives, from the very first glance, a feeling of gracefulness and composure.
The very first vagaries of the art gallery correspond to an ever-growing need to return to devote that space that, painting, engravings and all that sampler of creative beauty, deserve in the heart of a city like Catania, known for its artistic and intellectual fecundity.
But talking about Art in Catania does not mean only to take a look at those monuments that have made the Etnean capital a favorite destination for thousands of tourists from all over the world, but also to go to the discovery of all those realities that contribute to make known and make alive the concept of contemporaneity of this extraordinary virtue.
CATANIA ART GALLERY is located in the city center of Catania. In the spacious exhibition halls it will be possible to view modern and contemporary artworks by major Italian and international Artists.
